The Green Monster Winch and Omni base package combines the reliability and ruggedness of the BA5 winch with the flexibility of the GM Omni base.
Gone are the days of offshore lifting issues and bespoke winch bases to suit your construction needs. Our winch comes with dedicated lift points designed for offshore lifting and a tough crash frame to protect the air prep set and motor. Just lay down your 2 grillage beams over hard points, lift the winch and base package into position and weld down the base using the sacrificial seafastening tabs. Then release the locking pin; rotate the base and pick any one of the 36 possible operating positions!
You now have a winch installation solution that makes custom winch bases obsolete, and reduces installation time and money.
With every winch and omni base rental, Green Monster provides you with an engineer certified specification sheet that covers all of your deck reactions, seafastening details and weld sizes.
